The film tells the story of Andrii, an architect from Odesa known by the call sign “Roy.” Once, he designed luxury estates in Russia; today, he defends his country as the commander of an aerial reconnaissance drone crew. Between combat missions, the soldier paints, trying to put the inexpressible onto paper. His leave becomes a painful return to the past, where an empty office and old friends remain behind. It is a story about how the talent of a creator can become a defender’s true weapon.
